Syncope is one of the most common chief complaints in pre-hospital and emergency medicine. While it is often from a benign cause it can sometimes harbor a serious underlying pathology. Learn to identify the must know ECG's rhythms in the patient with a chief complaint of syncope. Learn to identify the red flags in the history of the patient with a potentially life threating etiology of their syncope. This lecture will also cover common mimics of syncope and how to distinguish seizure disorders from syncope.
